National, 16th January 2023: ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform, started the new year with a bang for its Bangla OTT viewers with a promise to release an original series every month starting January.
As part of this content slate, next up for the global Bengali diaspora is an exciting thriller series, Roktokorobi. Produced by Sahana Dutta’s Missing Crew and directed by Sayantan Ghoshal, Raktokarabi stars Raima Sen, Vikram Chatterjee, Shantilal Mukherjee, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Tulika Basu, Laboni Sarkar, Kinjal Nanda, Rooqma Ray, Angana Roy and Haridas Chatterjee and will premiere on ZEE5 on 26th January.
A psychological thriller, Roktokorobi revolves around a seemingly perfect and a happy family on the outside but are hiding an ocean of secrets inside the walls of their huge mansion. But if one wishes to unveil the scandalous truths, they need to be prepared to get their hands dirty and coloured in red. Roktokorobi unpeels the complexities of a twisted human mind to present a tale of revenge and retribution.
