PM Modi: “More films like the 'Kashmir Files' need to be made”
India’s honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has praised the recently released film 'The Kashmir Files' which is making waves all around India.
Prime Minister said, “More films like this need to be made so that people can know the truth”.
As per ANI report, The Prime Minister was addressing the BJP parliamentary party meeting before the start of day's proceedings in Parliament. At the meet, PM Modi spoke about the role of the film industry in presenting history.
"People who always raise flag of freedom of expression are restless. Instead of reviewing on facts, campaign being run to discredit it..," PM Modi said while mentioning about the movie The Kashmir Files'.

Elaborating further on the role of the Film industry in bringing out untold truths, during the meeting the PM said that there are numerous topics such as the 1975 Emergency or the Partition on which no authentic films were made”.
"The film has shown the truth which has been suppressed for years, Prime Minister said. Those who have problem with what is being shown in the movie should come out with their own version of the facts," the Prime Minister added. "Truth should be brought in the right form before the country. The truth prevailed in Kashmir Files," the Prime Minister said.
"The Kashmir Files is a very good movie. All of you should watch it. More movies like Gandhi and Kashmiri Files need to be made for people to know the truth," the PM said further.
