As the film has a very routine storyline, the director had to think out of the box and present the proceedings in a contemporary manner. But the director only showcases the so called romantic scenes and family drama in a simple way.

What keeps the family audience engaged in the first half is the breezy comedy. The track between Rashmika and Sharwanand has good comedy. The manner in which the hero tries to woo the heroine is showcased in a funny manner. The twist that comes at the interval point is also brought out quite nicely by the director and sets up things in a good way.

But where does the film slow down is the question. Post ten minutes into the second half, the hero starts on a journey to impress his lover and her mom. He goes to her town, joins her office in disguise and tries to help everyone to make an impression. Such a plot has been tried and tested in so many films earlier.

Only in the last half an hour things get serious and bring out good family emotions. The hero does not have much to do but the ladies in the family take center stage and end the film ends a happy note.

Though all this look like TV serial, the presence of Rashmika and A list supporting cast make this film a decent family outing

Performances

Sharwanand has done some intense roles in the past. He makes a U turn and gets a role which is crowd pleasing. The role requires him to be charming and Sharwanand does it with aplomb. Senior actress Radhika is wasted in her role as she is just a spectator and plays the silent part.

Rashmika plays a normal role of a girl who is engulfed in the boundaries fixed by her mom. She looks dull for the most part as her character is not established much. But still Rashmika with her charm makes all the romantic and emotional scenes look good.

Khushbu is also very good and brings a depth to the film in the latter part.

Technical department

Starting with the writing department, the story idea is quite old and has been seen in multiple Hindi and Telugu films earlier. When it comes to novelty, there is nothing special that has been showcased here. Devi Sri Prasad's music is very good but not as good as he composed for Pushpa.

The dialogues are written with deep emotions. The camera work is not that great as the film has an old school set up. The manner in which so many ladies have been showcased on screen looks a bit odd for the audience as such things do not happen in real life. Editing is sharp and the way Rashmika has been designed is very bad.

Final word

It has been quite some time since we have seen a proper family drama in Telugu. So all those who would want their family to go watch a film in the big screen after a long time, Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu (Ladies, salutation to you) is a decent choice.
