James Cameron’s Avatar and its sequel Avatar: The Way of Water introduced moviegoers to two different Na’vi clans, the forest-dwelling Omaticaya and the water-dwelling Metkayina.
Both the tribes are peace loving and only resort to violence when ostracized by humans. Cameron has revealed that not all Na’avi are good Na’avi and the third installment of the yet-untitled Avatar 3 will introduce a third clan of Pandora that shows the evil side of the indigenous people.
Cameron said that Avatar 3 will explore “different cultures from those I have already shown. The fire will be represented by the ‘Ash People.’ I want to show the Na’vi from another angle because, so far, I have only shown their good sides.”
