When Amitabh Bachchan helped Zeenat Aman

Amitabh Bachchan – the star of the millennium, the icon for the icons has many stories related to his helpful nature. Here is one of them with his co star the amazing Zeenat Aman – the fashion quotient diva of the retro – seventy eighties era.

This happened during the outdoor shooting of Ram Balram (1980) directed by Vijay Anand which saw the pairing of Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan again after Chupke Chupke and Sholay along with Zeenat Aman and Rekha.

One late night after the shooting, when Zeenat Aman was relaxing in her bed, she felt someone has entered her room. She saw a shadow roaming and got scared.

Zeenat Aman in panic instead of calling the security, ran towards the room just next to her and started banging the door and screaming loudly.

Amitabh Bachchan in the middle of his sleep woke up and saw Zeenat scared. On hearing the noise, the person who entered into Zeenat’s room started running but caught the eye of Amitabh Bachchan.

The silver screen Shahenshah became a real hero and ran after the person who turned out to be a petty thief. Fortunately, the thief was unsuccessful in stealing anything.

Amitabh Bachchan handed over the thief to the security and before doing so, he gave them a good scolding for their negligence.

Zeenat Aman thanked Amitabh Bachchan for his timely help.
