Legendary stage, Marathi and Hindi actor Vikram Gokhale passes away

Veteran stage, Marathi and Hindi cinema legend Vikarm Gokhale has sadly left for heavenly abode. The Natyasamrat, ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke  Sanam’, Khuda Gawah and more - Vikram Gokhale died at the age of 77 on November 26, 2022.

Vikarm Gokhale condition was critical and was undergoing treatment at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune.

As per reports, Vikram Gokhale was undergoing treatment for some days days. Reports suggest that his mortal remains wil be kept at Balgandharva Auditorium in the city and the last rites will be performed at the Vaikunth crematorium. 

Son of Marathi theater and film actor, Chandrakant Gokhale, Vikram Gokhale was awarded with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2011 for his Acting in Theatre.

In 2013, Vikram Gokhale won the National Film Award for Best Actor category for his Marathi film Anumati.

A stalwart, Vikram Gokhale was looked upon by aspiring artiste and actors in Marathi and Hindi industry.

Vikram Gokhale was associated with an acting academy in Pune, with his wife. Vikram Gokhale is survived by wife Vrushali Gokhle and two daughters.

Vikram Gokhale’s latest Marathi film 'Godavari' is still running in theatres all over the country.
