Lahore, 1947: Aamir Khan to produce the Sunny Deol starrer to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi

The blockbuster Jodi of Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi is back with Lahore, 1947 produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.

Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol have previously delivered three blockbusters - Ghayal, Damini, and Ghatak. Sunny Deol’s biggest Gadar 2 has already made history at the box office.

Previously, Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan have faced each other at the box office and have been part of two biggest clashes in the history of Bollywood. The first clash was witnessed in 1990 when Aamir Khan’s Dil and Sunny Deol’s Ghayal released on the same day and both turned victorious.

In 2001 it was the epic clash between Lagaan and Gadar – the rest is history.

Interestingly, now Aamir and Sunny had joined hands in Lahore, 1947.

Aamir Khan has worked under Rakjumar Santoshi in the cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna co starring Salman Khan along with Raveena Tandon and Karishma Kapoor.
