COVID-19 haunts Bollywood, Kareena, Amrita, Maheep test positive, who is responsible?

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan her BFF actress Amrita Arora along with Maheep Kapoor (jewellery designer and wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor), Seema Khan (Fashion designer and wife of Sohail Khan) has been tested positive for Covid 19.

Is Covid 19 really an endemic or the pandemic is still scaring us with new variants like the South African Omicron spreading its tail in India.

Yesterday Kareena Kapoor Khan confirmed that she and her close friend Amrita Arora had tested positive for COVID-19, which was followed by reports of Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan also testing positive.

Reportedly, the above celebrities attending Karan Johar’s dinner party a night before.

A day later, Mumbai’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sanitized Karan Johar’s home.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has gone into quarantine and issued a statement on her social media clarifying her stance while her spokesperson dismissed stories that she had been flouting COVID-19 norms, as stated by a BMC official who was quoted by ANI.

 “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested,” said Kapoor Khan, who is double vaccinated. “My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s building has been sealed by the BMC and is being sanitized.

There are concerns that these celebrities may turn super spreaders as Rhea Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, Karisma Kapoor etc have come in contact with the above celebrities.
