Jawan: Shah Rukh Khan creates history at the Box Office

By beating Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, King Khan Shah Rukh Khan has retained his supremacy.

Jawan – the King Khan Shah Rukh Khan starrer diected by Atlee has worked wonders for the super star SRK. Jawan is set to cross 400Cr today and this will make Jawan the fastest Hindi film to cross the Rs 400 crore mark at the box office.

Jawan is expected to mint around 20 crores today which will make its tally to Rs 408.27 crores.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan has crossed the 400 mark on the 12th day of release. Jawan will do it on its ninth day.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan in duo roles as father and son, Jawan also stars Priyamani, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra etc, Jawan is made at a budget of around Rs 300 crores.

The movie was appreciated by the media and the public and Jawan opened to an earth shattering response and is setting bench marks almost every second day.

Jawan is the fastest Bollywood film to cross the Rs 650 crore mark worldwide.

Going by the trend, it won’t be surprise if Jawan crosses lifetime collection of Pathaan - Rs 525 crore (Hindi). And if that happens SRK will be the first actor in Bollywood to give two blockbusters in a year that has crossed 500 crore mark.
