Exclusive: Jackie Shroff on Salaakhen, find out what he has to say on his collaboration with Subash Ghai

Bollywood refined talent Jackie Shroff and the last showman Subash Ghai is an unbreakable bond.

The recent media reports about filmmaker Subhash Ghai big screen comeback starring his favorite Jackie Shroff in the movie titled Salaakhen has made the industry and public in general excited.

We got in touch with our dear Jaggu Dada aka Jackie Shroff bollywood lovable bidu for his reaction on the ongoing media reports regarding Salaakhen and here is what the ‘Hero’ has to say

“Subash Ji has not made any announcement, if this happens that it will be a great blessing, just waiting for Subash Ji to make an official announcement regarding Salaakhen”

Indian cinema’s evergreen Dev Sahab aka Dev Anand discovered Jackie and gave him a break in Swami Dada. It was Subash Ghai who gave him a lead in his swashbuckling musical blockbuster Hero (1983) and Jackie became a household name.

Jackie Shroff and Subahsh Ghai worked in iconic Bollywood blockbusters like Ram Lakhan, Karma, Khalnayak.

Apart from the above mega hits, Subash Ghai also made blockbusters like Karz, Kalicharan (Sharughan Sinha’s debut as a Hero), Vishwanath, Vidhaata, Saudagar, Meri Jung etc,

After Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014) that starred actress Mishti and Kartik Aaryan along with Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty, it has been nine years since Subash Ghai has made a movie for big screen.

Jackie is having an interesting run doing versatile roles, last year he did an exceptional job in a slice of life gem Life Is Good (2022), was also seen in Mili, Phone Bhooth and Atithi Bhooto Bhava. In future Jackie will be seen in  Firrkie, Matka, Singham Again, Housefull 5, Pehlu to name a few

We all want to see the magic of Jackie Shroff and Subash Ghai explode again on the silver screen. Hoping that Subash Ghai makes an announcement regarding Salaakhen soon.
