Outhouse movie review: a sweet charming heart warmer
What: ‘Outhouse’ – at times when Bollywood is busy debating on how Pushpa 2 has ruled the mass audience and how south cinema has gone ahead in churning ‘massentric’ blockbusters, comes a sweet little gem called ‘Outhouse’ by national award winning director Sunil Suthankar. Starring Sharmila Tagore and Mohan Agashe (also the producer) 'Outhouse' tries to say how to make a simple realistic and effective ‘cinema’.
Outhouse movie synopsis
Aadima (Sharmila Tagore), a caring grandmother who creates detective novels for kids finds a new visitor in ‘Pablo’ a dog -favourite of his grandson Neel (Jihan Hodar). Neeel has been dropped into his ‘nani’ house by his parents played by Sonali Kulkarni and Neeraj Kabi.
In the morning, Neel’s beloved dog Pablo goes missing. Pablo finds shelter in Nana’s (Mohan Agashe) house nearby. Nana lives on his terms and initially Nana is not happy with the sudden arrival of Pablo but eventually Nana develops a liking towards Pablo and the cute Pablo reciprocates in equal proportion.
